2011 Swedish Open: Ws Successful Qualifiers

The players who will reach the main draw were already very obvious even in the first two qualifying rounds yesterday. Unlike the men division, the stronger female qualifiers immediately took control over the match and dominated in their respective groups. Today, the players in the waiting list were identified.

Germans Sabine Winter and Kathrin Muhlbach, Kinga Stefanska, Magdalena Szczerkowska and Klaudia Kusinska of Poland, Linda Creemers and Yana Timina of Netherlands, Barbora Balazova of Slovakia, Ukrainian Iryna Motsyk, South Koreans Yoo Eun Chong and Dang Ye Seo and the Chinese Yang Yang were all sure winners at the end of the second qualifying round.

Today, additional winners emerged as they fought victoriously in the third and pre round.

After the the third round, qualifiers from Sweden sealed their place in the main draw with Michelle Quach, Jennifer Jonsson, Linda Bergstrom as all landed in second place in their respective groups.

In addition Hannah Hicks of England, Alice Loveridge of Guernsey, Polish Maja Krzewicka, Indian Mallika Bhandarkar, French Stephanie Loeuillette, Liu Na of Ireland, Naomi Owenof Wales, Sonja Obradovic of Norway, and Ukrainian Polina Trifonova also earned their places in the main draw as they stood victoriously in the third round.

To complete the list, the third placers in each group still had to battle in a pre round. After the battle, another Swedish will enter into the next round with Daniela Moskovits winning against Katarzyna Sliferczyk. In addition, Emily Bates of England, Polish Sandra Wabik, Henrika Punnonen and Sannamari Bolenius of Finland, and Michelle Beaumont of Austrailia all succeeded in the aditional hurdle before sealing their places in the main draw of the Women Singles.
