Semifinalists of the boys' and girls' singles event are defined but Ankita Das, Bernadette Szocs's executor, and English boy Liam Pitchford caused upsets in previous rounds. In the boys' doubles, French pairing of Simon Gauzy and Quentin Robinot reached the final for second time in a row, while China secured the gold medal in the girls' doubles.

Girls' doubles

China showed its power and put its two pairings in the final securing the third gold medal for China. Gu Ruochen and Zhu Yuling overcame Rumanian pairing of Bernadette Szocs and Irina Ciobanu por 4:1, while Chen Meng and Gu Yuting beat Taiwanese Chen Szu-Yu TPE and Cheng Hsien-Tzu.

Boys' doubles

French boys Simon Gauzy and Quentin Robinot defeated second seed pairing of Lin Gaoyuan and Wu Jiaji of China by 4:2, while Song Hongyuana and Zheng Peifeng stood victorious over Koki Niwa and Maharu Yoshimura, top seed pairing, by 4:0. Japanese coach said that he's not too disappointed because it's the first time that Niwa and Yoshimura played together. Besides, they did a good job in singles.

Mixed doubles

Song Hongyuan and Chen Meng swept with their team mates Wu Jiaji and Gu Ruochen by 4:0, while Zheng Peifeng and Gu Yuting defeated Lin Gaoyuan and Zhu Yuling in a great match

Girls' Singles

The Chinese squad gave no chance to Europe and India in the singles event and secured the other gold medal for their country. Cheng Meng, Gu Yuting and Zhu Yuling didn't have problem to progress to semifinals. However her team mate struggled to beat Indian Ankita Das in six straight games.  In the previous round, Ankita, who defeated Rumanian Bernardette Szcos, surprised everyone again after overcoming Chen Hsien-Tzu of Taipei by 4:2.

  • Gu Ruochen v/s Zhu Yuling

Boys' Singles

Japan took revenge of China after their defeat in the teams final. In quarterfinals, Koki Niwa beat Zheng Peifeng in seven straight, while his team mate Maharu Yoshimura overcame Song Hongyuan by 4:1. Quentin Robinot defeated Liam Pitchford, who caused the biggest upset of the day after beating Wu Jiaji by 4:2 in the previous round. In the final match of the round, Lin Gaoyuan stood victorious over French raising star Simon Gauzy by 4:1.
