This is already the third year of the Harmony China Open in Suzhou. Along with this, the organizers aimed to bring the tournament in a whole new level. In addition to an attractive prize money for the strong contenders from around the world, the tournament also made efforts to increase the awareness of the public with the sport.
This year, Ping Pang World was commissioned to put up a trade fair in the stadium. The fair is entitled “Top 10 Ping Pong Equipments.” It will run simultaneously throughout the duration of the tournament. It aims to enrich the Suzhou Table Tennis culture and to enhance the service towards visitors as well.
This is also the first ever table tennis trade fair that is launched in an ITTF Pro Tour for 23 years.
Some of the exhibitors are Double Happiness, Double Fish, Galaxy, Butterfly, Stiga, Yasaka, Nitaku, and Nasdaq among others. Ping Pang World also set up an exhibition area for interaction between exhibitors and visitors.
Along with the trade fair, the China Open in Suzhou also has a “historical corridor” and a “cartoon exhibit.” These have a series of historical and interesting memorabilia, photos, caricatures, and other items that are being showed to the public.
Truly, this Pro Tour has made a mark above other competitions in terms of interaction and interest. This year, the Harmony China Open in Suzhou did not only focus on the main event but also took into consideration some sport-enriching ingredients as well.
