German Team Before The World Team Championship

German men team participated in a press conference about the upcoming World Team Championship some days ago. Jorg Rosskopf, German coach, said that their goal is to face China in the final but he pointed out that there is a long way to go because they have to face strong opponents such as Japan and South Korea. About the team, Rosskopf added that Germany has the best team ever. They have two players in the top-ten and two in the top-20.

Timo Boll was asked about his health condition. He remarked that he is fine. He hasn't had pain and has trained well, so he is optimistic about his performance at the World Team Championship. About the Chinese team, Boll said that doubtless, the Chinese team are the strongest in the competition but he also pointed out that it's not a team impossible to beat because they put Chinese players under pressure in Moscow 2010.

Dimitrij Ovtcharov repeated what he said in an interview some time ago. The German player confessed that he trained really hard in summer 2011 and is very motivated and focused on Dortmund and the Olympics.

Bastian Steger talked about their opponents. He said that they must give their 100% in every match to beat their opponents. Besides, he remarked that he hopes to show a good performance.

On the other hand, Christian Suss was asked about his knee injury. He said that he thinks he is in good form again and it's ready to meet top players. Besides, Suss expressed his happiness for being in the team again and hopes to be able to help the team.
