2012 World Team Championships Successful Teams

As the 2012 World Team Championships is coming to an end, successful teams are already determined as well. As part of the rules, the top two teams in each division starting in the Second Division will have their direct qualification for their seats on higher division in the next season. Meanwhile, the top eighteen teams in the Championship Division will still remain in the elite group of table tennis teams.   


Women 

Next season, Fourth Division's Kyrgyzstan and Norway will be in the Third Division, while Chile and Bosnia-Herzegovina of the Third Division will go one division higher. Lastly, Second Division's Australia and Luxembourg will be in the elite group.

Although the matches in the Championships Division have not yet finished, the top eighteen teams are already determined. Czech Republic, Spain, Croatia, Russia, Chinese Taipei, Belarus, Romania, Hungary, Austria, North Korea, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, China and Singapore will stay in the Championship Division in the next season.   

Men 

For the next two years, Mongolia and Sri Lanka from the Fifth Division will advance one division higher while the Fourth Division's Kazakhstan and Guatemala will be in the Third Division. Paraguay and Dominican Republic of the Third Division will go to the Second Division and lastly, Ukraine and Romania will have their seats in the Championship Division.

China, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Austria, Sweden, Chinese Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Belarus, Portugal, and Poland are in the positions of 1-12. Teams mentioned along with North Korea, Russia, Greece, Serbia, Hungary, and France will all remain in the Championship Division in the Men department.
