The third Open of the Euro-Africa Circuit will come to end on Friday but the top seed Jean-Michel Saive won't be there. The living legend suffered an early departure in quarterfinal after being defeated by Kuwait's Ibrahem Al-Hasan.
This is the second unexpected defeat for Saive in a month. In the recent Brazil Open the Belgian player fell against the Brazilian raising star Hugo Calderano by 0:4, so the Morocco Open was the chance of Saive to redeem himself but the Kuwait player stopped him. This isn't a good sign for his participation at the Olympic Games.

In the women event semifinalists are Sweden's Matilda Ekholm, Spain's Galia Dvorak, Russia's Polina Mikhailov and Spain's Sara Ramirez.
