The German city of Fulda will host the last tournament for European players before the Olympic Games. The event that will be held on 20th and 21th July will gather players from Sweden, Austria, France, Slovenia, Craotia, Belarus and Germany, of course. The phase group will be played on Friday 20th, while the main draw will be held on Saturday 21th.
The event will be sponsored by Double Happiness (tables) and Nittaku (balls), just like at the Olympic Games. Therefore, players will find the same conditions in London a week later.
Germany will jump into the arena with its Olympic team made up by Timo Boll, Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Bastian Steger. Sweden will be represented by Olympic team made up by Jorgen Persson, Jens Lundqvist and Par Gerell but also Mattias Karlsson, the reserve. Austria will arrive in Fulda with its whole Olympic team and its reserve player: Werner Schlager, Chen Weixing, Robert Gardos and Daniel Habesohn, the reserve.
On the other hand, Croatia will send his two olympic qualifiers: Zoran Primorac and Andrej Gacina. Rest of the players in competition are Vladimir Samsonov, Adrien Mattenet and Bojan Tokic.
