London 2012: South Korea And Singapore In Semifinals!

Semifinalits of the women team event are defined in London. South Korea and Singapore were the last teams that secured a place in the best four on Saturday. Kim Kyungah and Co. stood victorious over Tie Yana's Hong Kong by 3:0 but matches weren't so easy for Koreans. Dang Yeseo overcame Tie Yana in three games. Then Kim Kyungah was challanged by Huajun Jiang and overcame her in the deciding game by 12:10. In the third match, Seok Hajung and Dang Deseo beat Lee Ho Ching and Tie Yana by 3:2. 

In the other quarterfinal match, Singapore, current silver medallist, emerged successfully over North Korea but also struggle to suceed. Wang Yuegu beat Ri Myong Sun by 3:1 in the opening game. Then Feng Tianwei, bronze medallist, overcame Kim Jong by the same score. In the doubles match, Li Jiawei and Wang Yuegu defeated Ri Mi Gyoung and Kim Jong by 3:1 and sealed Singaporean victory.

Therefore, China and South Korea will clash in the first semifinal, while Singapore and Japan will meet in the second one. China vs South Korea will be held on Sunday at 10:00 AM (local time). Singapore vs Japan will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM (local time).
