Adrien Mattenet won't participate in the next season of the French League, althought he signed for Levallois. The French player left Pontoise after three years to take part of a national project together with Simon Gauzy, Quentin Robinot and Emmanuel Lebesson.
However, people in Pontoise weren't taken by surprise because Mattenet signed with Levallois a time ago. Mrs Louise Adam, Pontoise's president, said that Mattenet left the club because of Levallois' project and that club has stopped its play in French League and ECL. Mrs. Adam also explained that Levallois wants to assist four French players and make them progress for national team. Mattenet was interested to prepare himself to be able to get titles and medals. Four participants of that national project are Simon Gauzy, Adrien Mattenet, Emmanuel Lebesson and Quentin Robinot. It is the project until 2016 Olympic Games at Rio. It is good solution for Mattenet. He liked too much Pontoise and he showed his emotion to our club by his message on our website.
With Mattenet's departure, Pontoise had to look for a new player and signed Wang Jian Jun from Charleroi. Therefore, the Chinese player will join Marcos Freitas, Chiang Peng Lung, Peter Franz and Tristan Flore in the European Champions League and the new season of the French League that will start in September.
