Dimitrij Ovtcharov's and Vladimir Samsonov's Orenburg posted a victory over Ryu Seungmin's Ochsenhausen and progressed to semifinals of the 2012-13 European Champions League. The defending champion will face Marcos Freitas's Pontoise that beat Chen Weixing's Niederösterrech.

Orenburg and Pontoise emerged successfully in quarterfinals of the 2012-13 European Champions League. Orenburg scored a 3:0 victory over Ryu Seungmin's Ochsenhausen in the second leg match and secured a place in semifinals. Dimitrij Ovtcharov defeated Kirill Skachkov by 11:6, 11:9, 8:11 and 12:10 in the opening match. Then Vladimir Samsonov beat Ryu Seungmin in a close match (11:6, 11:6, 9:11, 5:11 and 11:9). Alexey Smirnov gave victory to Orenburg after defeating Tiago Apolonia by 3:1 (11:8, 6:11, 13:11 and 11:9). 

Ovtcharov and Co. will meet Marcos Freitas's Pontoise in semifinals. The French club progressed to the next round after defeating Niederösterreich of Chen Weixing. Pontoise got a good advantage as Freitas led the team to a 3:1 victory in the first leg match held in Austria. In the second leg match Freitas and Co. fell by 2:3, but their 3:1 victory in the first leg match gave them the ticket to semifinals. Stefan Fegerl took revenge of his defeat against Wang Jian Jun in the first leg encounter and beat him by 3:2 (4:11, 11:9, 11:9, 7:11 and 12:10). Chen Weixing leveled the score as he overcame Peter Franz by 3:0 (11:6, 11:9 and 14:12). Marcos Freitas defeated Leung Chuyan by 3:0 ( 11:9, 11:5 and 12:10) and got the first point for Pontoise. Wang stood victorious over Chen by 3:2 (11:9, 11:5, 9:11, 8:11 and 11:5), and leveled for Pontoise. Fegerl captured the third point for Niederösterreich after beating Peter Franz by 3:1 (11:6, 14:12, 11:4 and 11:5).
