PingPang World. The reigning Olympic champion Li Xiaoxia could be one of the happiest persons in London. However, aside from her, her coach Li Sun is also very proud of the achievement of his disciple. In his interview, Li Sun commits to continue the glory of the Chinese Women's Team through his players.

"I entered the Chinese National Team 16 years ago, after the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. At that time, the Chinese Women's Team were victorious in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games, sweeping all gold medals. As for me who did not have much experience whether as an athlete or a coach, the pressure was unimaginable. I can still remember that I was really nervous while riding the bus in going to wok that time." Li Sun recalled.

Since then, Li Sun has trained some of the brilliant players of the Chinese Women's Team just like Wang Nan, Zhang Yining and the most current, Li Xiaoxia, who is the reigning Olympic champion.

"Li Xiaoxia's advantages are her height, athletic qualities, outstanding abilities, speed, strength, and her rotation." Li Sun pointed out.

On the other hand, Li Sun also narrated the areas where Li Xiaoxia still needs to improve. "Her confidence and self control are not yet firm. She is still relatively fragile in terms of her psychological state." Li Sun added.

Lastly, as one of the main coaches of the Chinese Women's Team, Li Sun commits that he will continue to serve the team and bring honour and glory to the Chinese Team.

"I have been serving the team for 16 years and I have already established deep connection with it. Table Tennis has given me all the honour and my passion for the sport will never change. If our leaders and colleagues will give me a chance, I will continue to give my best for the glory of the team." Li Sun concluded.
