Michael Maze made his comeback this year at the 2014 Europe Cup. He had a great tournament beating Dimitirj Ovtcharov and ending up in the second place. But he is still working to reach his best level. Maze visitied the Werner Schlager Academy, where he was interviewed about his goals, his free time during his recovery and more.

Michael Maze is back in tournaments in 2014. He had a great tournament in the 2014 Europe Cup where he got the second place. In semifinals he overcame Dimitrij Ovtcharov in a superb performance, but he fell against Marcos Freitas in the final. In the 2014 German Open Maze reached quarterfinals, where he was swept by Tiago Apolonia by 4:0. 

Although he is recovered, Maze is still working to reach the level showed before his injury, so he is training hard for it. Days ago the former European champion was training at the Werner Schlager Academy with some players such as Marcos Freitas and Joao Monteiro. 

During his stay there, the Academy interviewed Maze. The Danish player talked about his beginning in Table Tennis, his short- and long-term goals, his goals in the 2014 World Team Championships, his free time activities such as yoga and golf, and also left us some inspirational worlds: "If you have some goals you want to reach, fight for them".
