Singapore emerged as champions of the 2014 Australia Open. Wu Zhiknag claimed the title after beating his team mate Zhan Jian in the final, while Feng Tianwei got her second title in a week as she overcame Japan's Misaki Morizono. The U21 event was dominated by Japan. Mima Ito and Asuka Sakai clinched the title.

Feng Tianwei and Wu Zhikang are the winners of the 2014 Australia Open. Feng Tianwei kept her top seed until the final as she stood victorious over Japan's Misaki Morizono by 11:5, 12:10, 11:9 and 11:4. In semifinals she overcame raising-star Mima Ito by 11:3, 11:9, 11:3 and 11:8. In the 2nd semifinal Morizono defeated her team mate Saki Tashiro by 4:1 

This is the second title for the Singaporean player after winning the Philippines Open last Sunday

In the men event top seeded Wong Chun Ting of Hong Kong was eliminated by William Henzell by 2:4 in quarterfinals. In the next round Henzell faced defeat against the eventual winner Wu Zhikang of Singapore by 11:6, 8:11, 16:14, 11:8, 4:11, 5:11 and 9:11. In the second semifinal Singapore's Zhan Jian overcame Japan's Asuka Sakai by 4:1. 

In the final Wu didn't have problems and defeated Zhan by 11:6, 11:6, 11:9, 7:11 and 11:8.

In the doubles event Hong Kong and Japan reached the highest place in the podium. Tang Peng and Wong Chung Tin beat Singapore's Yang Zi and Zhan Jian by 11:5, 11:9 and 11:7 in the final. In the women event Saki Tashiro and Yukko Fujii swept with Australia's Lay Jian Fang and Miao Miao by 11:1, 11:4 and 11:7. 

The U21 event was dominated by the young players of Japan. Mima Ito claimed the title after beating her team mate Hitomi Sato by 4:1 in semifinals and Miyu Kato by 11:13, 11:8, 9:11, 11:7, 11:4, 8:11, and 11:8. In the boys event Asuka Sakai won the title as he stood victorious over Hong Kong's Li Hon Ming by 4:3 in semifinals and his team mate Kohei Sambe by 10:12, 11:6, 11:8, 11:9 and 11:8 in the final.
