The Grand Slam champion can easily get his way into the limelight for any reason. These days, he has once again attracted the attention of the people after his weak performance against Dimitrij Ovtcharov in the World Championships finals. It may have caused some nerves to Liu Guoliang but he doesn't blame Zhang Jike.

Sohu Sports. If Zhang Jike can surprise us with his epic victories, he can also do the same with a devastating defeat.

Its news that Chinese players did not complete a sweep in the World Team Championships, how much more if Zhang Jike, the Grand Slam champion was the one swept?

In the last day of the 2014 World Team Championships, Zhang Jike made the final match of the Men's Team event interesting after his 0-3 performance against Dimitrij Ovtcharov.

"Ovtcharov really played well today. But the main thing is that there was a big problem on Zhang Jike. I still saw it after Ma Long went into the arena for the fourth match." Liu Guoliang said after the match.

Despite seeing the problem, Liu Guoliang wasn't too harsh on Zhang Jike, surprisingly.

"However, I don't blame Zhang Jike for losing his match today. Athletes are humans, everyone has problems. I just hope that this match will wake him up. I feel that Zhang Jike will learn a lot of things through this match." The head coach added.
