Egypt and Nigeria emerged as champions of the 2014 Africa Top-16. Dina Meshref didn't have problems to beat Nigeria's Olufunke Oshonaike in the final, while Quadri Aruna defeated Egypt's El Sayed Lishin in a full distance match.

Dina Meshref of Egypt and Quadri Aruna of Nigeria were crowned champions of the 2014 Africa Top-16 held in Lagos, Nigeria. In the women event Dina Meshref overcame host player Olufunke Oshonaike by 11:6, 13:11, 11:9 and 16:14 in the final. 

In semifinals Meshref beat her compatriot Nadeen El-Dawlatly by 12:10, 12:14, 11:7, 11:7 and 11:5 and Oshonaike defeated Congo Brazzaville's Han Xing by 6:11, 11:8, 12:10, 8:11, 6:11, 11:8 and 11:9. 

In the men's event Quadri Aruna emerged as champion after beating Egypt's El Sayed Lashin by 11:9, 13:15, 5:11, 11:7, 11:9, 9:11 and 11:2. In semifinals Aruna defeated Egypt's Omar Assar, while Lashin overcame Nigeria's Segun Tariola.
