Ovtcharov Confident To Win An Olympic Gold Medal

Dimitrij Ovtcharov is currently ranked fourth in the world, an Olympic Singles bronze medalist, and a European Champion. As of now, he is indeed enjoying the peak of his career. However, Dimitrij Ovtcharov feels he still has more to offer and accomplish. For his personal life, he wants to have a baby. For his athletic career, he is confident for An Olympic Gold. 

PingPang World. Dimitrij Ovtcharov is currently at his peak with a loving wife and an Olympic bronze. But, the European champion aims for more. 

Dimitrij Ovtcharov is participating in this season's Chinese Super League for the Jiangsu Team. This weekend, he was not on duty because he had a wedding to attend to: in fact, it was his wedding. 

"As for my personal life, I recently got married. Through time, we will be preparing for a baby and have a happy family." He said. 

Ovtcharov has already played last season in the Super League. For him, the league gives him more confidence to play in Europe and other arena. "Almost all top players in table tennis are in China. Playing in the Super League is the hardest so when I come back, I find playing very easy." He explained.  

Currently, he is ranked fourth in the world with an Olympic bronze in Singles and Team, and a European champion under his belt. What are his future goals? 

"After competing with outstanding players in China, there will definitely be an improvement in my technical aspect. I have the confidence to win a gold medal in the Olympic Games." Ovtcharov concluded.
