Semifinalists were defined in the 2014 Commonwealth Games's men team event. Top seeds Singapore and England didn't have problems to book a place in the final. In the women competition Malaysia surprised after beating England and reached semifinals. Singapore, Australia and India are the other semifinalists. 

Semifinalists of the 2014 Commonwealth Games's men team event are defined. Top seeded Singapore got into the final after beating New Zealand by 3:0. In semifinals the Asian country will face Nigeria that eliminated Australia.

In the first match William Henzell overcame overcame Bode Abiodun by 3:2. But Quadri Aruna leveled at 1:1 as he stood victorious over Xin Yan by 3:1. Nigeria took the lead as Segun Toriola and Abiodun beat David Powell and Xin Yan by 3:2. But Henzell defeated Toriola by 3:1 and forced to a deciding match. Aruna overcame by Powell by 3:0. 

In the second semifinals India will meet England. The team led by Sharath Kamal Achanta emerged successfully over Scotland of Gavin Rumgay by 3:0, while England, made up by Liam Pitchford, Paul Drinkhall and Andrew Baggaley, defeated Wales by 3:0 as well. 

The women event is a step ahead. Singapore and Malaysia are the finalists. Singapore overcame India by 3:1. Manika Batra posted a historic victory over Yu Mengyu by 3:2. Malaysia stood victorious over Australia by 3:1.
