Semifinalists of the 2014 Africa Senior Championships have been defined and 2014 World Cup's sensation Aruna Quadri isn't one of them. He was eliminated in quarterfinals and Egypt already secured the gold medal in the men's event. In the women event Egypt, Camerún and Congo Brazzaville will fight for the title.

Quadri Aruna suffered an early elimination at the 2015 Africa Senior Championships. The Nigerian player fell against Egypt's Mohamed El-Beiali by 11:8, 11:6, 8:11, 8:11, 8:11, 11:7 and 11:5 in quarterfinals. 

El-Beiali will meet his compatriot Omar Assar in semifinals. Assar defeated Congo Brazzaville's Saheed Idowu by 11:5, 11:5, 11:7 and 11:4. 

Egypt already secured the gold medal in the men's singles, because the other semifinal will also be an Egyptian duel. Khalid Assar overcame top seeded El-Sayed Lashin by 11:8, 8:11, 11:9, 11:8 and 11:9 in quarterfinals. Assar will face Ahmed Saleh, who beat his compatriot Ahmed Ashraf by 11:6, 11:9, 11:7 and 15:13. 

In the women event Egypt, Nigeria, Egypt and Cameroon have players in semifinals. Top seeded Han Xing of Congo Brazzaville stood victorious over Ehypt's Fatma Alaa by 11:7, 11:6, 11:6 and 11:1. She will face Nadeen El-Dawlatly of Egypt in semifinals. El-Dawlatly beat Nigeria's Offiong Edem by 6:11, 11:6, 6:11, 11:8, 11:9 and 12:10. 

In the second semifinals Cameroon's Sarah Hanffou will meet Egypt's Dina Meshref. Hanffou defeated Egypt's Noha Yousry by 11:6, 11:9, 11:6, 11:13, 13:15 and 11:7, while Meshref overcame her compatriot Galila Nasser by 14:12, 11:13, 11:8, 11:4 and 11:5.
