Sina Sports. Defensive players can be hard opponents for many table tennis players but despite that, making it big in the sport is still hard.

“Originally, the degree of difficulty for the defensive players in the men’s division is very high. More so, we cannot say that their level is so high in a very competitive Chinese Team.” Liu Guoliang said.

Currently, there are some new defensive players who are getting the attention of the world. One of them is Yuto Muramatsu of Japan. For the Chinese Team’s head coach, the South Korean Joo Saehyuk is still the strongest.

“I think that the best chopper nowadays is still Joo Saehyuk of South Korea. He can still perform in the international arena for many years.” He said. Joo Saehyuk still plays in international competitions. He even plays this week in Qatar.

As for China, Liu Guoliang said that they have new defensive players but he admits that they are still at a disadvantage in the domestic stage. “We now have two defensive players, Ma Te and Liu Yi. Although they are at a disadvantage domestically, they still have their own place in the international circuit.” Liu Guoliang concluded.
