Nigeria and Egypt emerged champions of the 2015 African Games' team events. In the men's event Segun Toriola led Nigeria to an epic victory over Egypt. In the women team's final Egypt suffered to beat Nigeria. Dina Meshref was the hero for Egyptian team in Congo Brazzaville. 

Nigeria and Egypt are the 2015 African Games' team champions. Both teams emerged successfully in close finals. In the men's team Segun Toriola, 41, led Nigeria to its 8th title. 

Egypt took the lead after Omar Assar's close victory over Quadri Aruna by 11-8, 10-12, 11-6, 6-11 and 14-12. Segun Toriola overcame Mohamed El-Beiali by 11-13, 13-11, 12-10 and 12-10, and leveled the score at 1-1. 

But El-Sayed Lashi put Egypt in the lead again after beating Ojo Onaolapo by 11-5, 11-6, 11-13 and 11-5. Toriola kept Nigeria's hopes alive as he defeated Omar Assar by 1-11, 11-8, 11-2 and 11-4. In the deciding match Aruna redeemed himself and secured the title for Nigeria. He won against El-Beiali by 10-12, 11-8, 4-11, 11-4 and 11-3. 

The women's final was also a full-distance match. Nigeria gave the first blow as Offiong Edem overcame Nadeen El-Dawlatly by 11-6, 11-7 and 11-4. Dina Meshref leveled the score after defeating Olufunke Oshonaike by 13-15, 11-8, 11-9 and 11-5. 

Cecilia Akpan and Offiong Edem overcame Dina Meshref and Nadden El-Dawlatly by 7-11, 11-4, 7-11, 11-7 and 11-1. But then Dina Meshref swept with Ofiong Edem by 11-2, 11-4 and 11-9, and forced to a deciding match. El-Dawlatly repeated success and beat Olufunke by 11-7, 11-7, 8-11 and 11-8.
