Japanese stars were eliminated from the 2016 Hungarian player. Yesterday Kasumi Ishikawa was beaten in the second round and today Ai Fukuhara suffered defeat at hands of Hong Kong's Tie Yana. 

Top seeds were eliminating from the 2016 Hungarian Open. Yesterday Kasumi Ishikawa, second seed, was defeated in the second round and today her teammate Ai Fukuhara was beaten by Hong Kong's Tie Yana by 8-11, 11-5, 11-6, 6-11, 4-11 and 9-11 in the thhird round.

Yana continued on her winning path and defeated Netherland's Li Jie by 9-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-5, 11-8, 2-11 and 11-8. She will meet Chinese-Taipei's Cheng I-Ching, who eliminated South Korea's Seo Hyowon by 11-9, 6-11, 11-8, 11-5, 10-12, 8-11 and 11-8. 

In quarterfinals Japan's Mima Ito also said good-bye to the competition. She lost to Hong Kong's Doo Hoi Kem by 11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 15-13, 9-11 and 9-11. Doo will face Yang Haeun in semifinals. In quarterfinals the South Korean player overcame Turkey's Hu Melek by 11-8, 11-7, 11-9, 9-11 and 11-8.
