The Chinese Women’s Team has already identified their first player to qualify for this year’s World Team Championships. After fighting several rounds, Zhu Yuling emerged as the ultimate winner. In the final day, she defeated Chen Meng and Liu Shiwen. After the match, the head coach said that they will be increasing the sense of urgency for their players as this is an extraordinary year. 

Sohu Sports. After several round of competition, the Chinese Women’s Team has identified their first qualified player for the World Team Championships. She is Zhu Yuling. 

Yesterday, the Chinese Women’s Team identified their semi-finalists for their squad trials. Ding Ning faces Liu Shiwen while Zhu Yuling fights against Chen Meng

Today, the first match was between Liu Shiwen and Ding Ning. In four sets, Liu Shiwen sealed her seat in the finals (5-11, 12-10, 11-5, 11-8). In the other match, Zhu Yuling swept Chen Meng in 3-0. 

In the finals, Zhu Yuling presented herself as a strong competitor. She was brave enough to face and counter attack her opponent. In the end, her efforts paid off after she sealed a 3-1 victory (11-7, 11-7, 8-11, 13-11) against Liu Shiwen and is now the first ever qualified player from the Chinese Women’s Team for the 2016 World Team Championships in Kuala Lumpur. 

After the match, Liu Shiwen said that it was a bit unfortunate for her not to win the game. Meanwhile, Zhu Yuling said that her performance in the match was normal. 

Lastly, Kong Linghui said: “We will be strengthening the sense of urgency of the players because this is an extraordinary year.”
