Chinese Team Watches Out On Mima Ito

The Japanese Team has posted a steady rise in terms of their performance in women’s table tennis recently. In fact, they have been the runner-up to the Chinese Team in the recent big team competitions. With this, they are now considered to be the strongest competition of China in Kuala Lumpur. Among the Japanese players, the Chinese team has its eyes on Mima Ito.  

Sina Sports. The Japanese Team has really elevated their status in women’s table tennis. Now, they are considered as the strongest opponents of the Chinese Team. 

Yesterday, we reported that the Chinese Team thinks the overall strength of the Singaporean Team has declined over the years. Who who could be the top on their list of opponents? According to CCTV reporter Li Wujun, who was able to go inside the closed training of the women’s team, it is the Japanese Team.  

“The Chinese Women’s Team has prepared a list of important opponents which they need to prepare for the World Team Championships. The list include the Japan’s Ai Fukuhara, Kasumi Ishikawa and Mima Ito. Currently, they are China’s most important competitor.” 

According to the reporter, the Chinese Team has attached a great importance on Mima Ito. This is what the team has to say: 

“(The Japanese Team) has maintained a runner-up position in recent big competitions. In the leadership of Ai Fukuhara and Kasumi ishikawa, the young player was able to replace Sayaka Hirano. Her overall strength has been greatly improved. Her impact is strong and is one of our biggest opponents.”
