Yesterday the biggest legend of Table Tennis played his last official match. Jan-Ove Waldner said good bye to our sport in the 14th round of the Swedish League. His team Ängby Sparvägen Elit fell but Waldner managed to emerged successfully. 

With a victory and a defeat, Jan-Ove Waldner bid farewell to official Table Tennis. The Mozart of Table Tennis played his last match yesterday in the Swedish League. Unfortunately, his team Ängby/Sparvägen lost to BTK Rekord, but he could said good-bye to his fans with a victory. 

In the opening match, he overcame Simon Ardvidsson by 10-12, 11-8, 11-6, 7-11 and 11-5. His teammate Elias Ranefur was beaten by Andreas Tornkvist by 1-3. In the third match Elsayed Lashin was defeated by Zhi Xu Wang by 0-3. 

The fourth encounter was the last match for Waldner. He couldn't avoid his team's defeat and lost to Tornkvist by 11-6, 4-11, 5-11 and 9-11. In the fifth match Zhi Xu Wang overcame Ranefur by 13-11, 9-11, 11-2 and 13-11.
