Berlin Eastside won tough match against Linz at the ECL

Berlin Eastside took the lead in semifinals of the Women's European Champions League. The German club emerged successfully over Linz AG Froschberg in the first leg match. KTS Spar-Zamek Tarnobrzeg also stood victorious in the first match. The Polish club overcame UCAM Cartagena. 

Berlin Eastside won the first leg match in semifinals of the 2015-16 Women's European Champions League. Last week the German club defeated Linz AG Froschberg in a close match. 

The Austrian club took the leas as Liu Jia overcame Georgina Pota by 11-4, 11-8 and 11-5. Shan Xiaona leveled aftre beating Sofia Polcanova by 9-11, 11-6, 12-10 and 11-8. In the third match Iveta Vacenovska stood victorious over Petrissa Solja by 9-11, 11-5, 11-7 and 13-11. 

In the fourth match Xiaona leveled the score again. She won against Liu Jia by 11-7, 11-5, 8-11 and 11-2. In the fifth match Pota defeated Polcanova by 11-9, 5-11, 11-9 and 11-8, and gave victory to Berlin. 

KTS SPAR - Zamek Tarnobrzeg also won last week. The Polish club beat UCAM Cartagena by 3-1. Iulia Necula overcame Li Quan by 11-9, 12-10, 9-11 and 11-7, and collected the only point for Cartagena. Then Han Ying defeated Ruta Paskauskiene by 11-7, 1-6 and 11-7. In the third match Natalia Partyka stood victorious over Wang Zhipei by 11-8, 11-8, 6-11 and 11-7. In the fourth match Han defeated Iulia Necula by 11-9, 11-9 and 11-4.
