German trio got ticket to Rio 2016

Germany showed its supremacy at the European Olympic Qualification Tournament. Han Ying, Shan Xiaona and Petrissa Solja booked their places to Rio 2016 at the first attempt. Sweden, Poland, Russia, Turkey and Austria will also have representatives at the Olympic Games. 

Thursday was a perfect day for Germany at the European Olympic Qualification Tournament. In the women's event Han Ying, Shan Xiaona and Petrissa Solja got their tickets to the Olympic Games Rio 2016. 

In the deciding match Han recovered from a 0-3 defeat against Czech Republic's Iveta Vacenovska to win the deciding match. She eventually won by 8-11, 7-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-7 and 11-8. 

In the second draw Petrissa Solja didn't have problems to beat Eva Odorova by 11-9, 11-6, 11-5 and 11-4. In the third draw Shan emerged successfully over France's Li Xue by 11-4, 8-11, 11-7, 11-6 and 11-6. 

Turkey's Hu Melek also qualified to Rio 2016. In the final match she stood victorious over Hungary's Georgina Pota by 7-11, 7-11, 12-10, 12-10, 11-9 and 11-6. Yu Fu of Portugal also got the golden ticket as she overcame Daniela Monteiro-Dodean by 3-11, 12-10, 12-10, 11-8 and 11-3. 

Li Qian of Poland swept with Sweden's Li Fen by 11-5, 11-2, 11-7 and 11-7, and booked a place at the Olympic Games as well. Polina Mikhailova of Russia and Liu Jia of Austria defeated Serbia's Gabriela Feher by 15-13, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, 11-2 and Slovakia's Barbora Balazova by 9-11, 11-5, 10-12, 11-7, 11-6, 10-12 and 11-9.
