Panagiotis Gionis caused upset to qualify to the Olympic Games Rio 2016. The Greek player emerged successfully over Vladimir Samsonov in the last match of the group A. He won by 7-11, 11-8, 11-8, 12-10 and 12-10.
Alexander Shibaev of Russia also will be in the Olympic event. The Russian player stood victorious over Slovakia's Wang Yang by 11-3, 11-9, 12-10, 8-11 and 11- in the group F.
Par Gerell was the winner in the group G. The Swedish player overcame England's Paul Drinkhall by 11-7, 11-7, 8-11, 14-12 and 11-5. In the group H Bojan Tokic defeated Portugal's Joao Geraldo by 6-11, 11-4, 11-5, 11-9 and 15-13.
