Miu Hirano claimed the title at the 2016 Polish Open. The Japanese raising star overcame Singapore's Yu Mengyu in the final match. The South Korean pair of Jeon Jihee and Yan Haeun stood victorious in doubles. Kato Miyu of Japan captured the title in U21's event.


Miu Hirano shone at the 2016 Polish Open. The Japanese raising star clinched the title after sweeping with Singapore's Yu Mengyu by 12-10, 11-9, 12-10 and 11-7. To be in semifinals, Hirano stood victorious over Netherland's Li Jiao by 11-4, 11-4, 3-11, 11-1 and 11-8. In the first semifinal Yu eliminated Kasumi Ishikawa by 11-9, 11-9, 11-6, 6-11 and 11-8. 

In doubles South Korea's Jeon Jihee and Yang Haeun emerged champions. The South Korean pairing overcame the transnational pair of Netherland's Li Jie and Poland's Li Qian by 114, 12-10 and 11-7. 

Miyu Kato of Japan stood victorious over Singapore's Zeng Jian by 11-8, 11-6 and 11-5 in the final and got the title n the U21's women singles. In the previous match she overcame Japan's Honoka Hashimoto by 11-5, 6-11, 11-8 and 11-9. In the first semifinal Zeng defeated Japan's Yui Hamamoto
