Jun Mizutani was crowned champion at the 2016 Polish Open. The Japanese star emerged successfully over Dimitrij Ovtcharov in the final match. Japan also succeeded in men's doubles. Masataka Morizono and Yuya Oshima stood victorious over their teammates Koki Niwa and Maharu Yoshimura. In U21 men's singles the winner was Denmark's Wang Zhixu. 

Jun Mizutani emerged as champion of the 2016 Polish Open. The Japanese player stood victorious over Dimitrij Ovtcharov by 7-11, 11-9, 11-5, 11-4, 9-11 and 11-6. In semifinals Mizutani overcame his teammate Maharu Yoshimura by 11-5, 9-11, 9-11, 11-4, 11-9 and 11-2. Dimitrij Ovtcharov defeated Bastian Steger by 11-3, 11-3, 11-3 and 11-7 in the first semifinals. 

Masataka Morizono and Yuya Oshima clinched the title in doubles. The Japanese pair overcame its teammates Koki Niwa and Maharu Yoshimura by 16-14, 11-8 and 11-8. 

In U21's event Denmark's Wang Zhixu was crowned champion. Wang won against France's Can Akkuzu by 7-11, 7-11, 11-8, 11-5 and 11-6 in the final. In semifinals the Danish player beat Hong Kong's Ho Kwan Kit by 11-8, 11-6, 5-11, 12-14 and 13-11. Akkuzo booked a place in the final as he defeated Japan's Kenta Tazoe by 11-8, 11-7, 2-11, 6-11 and 14-12.
