The long wait was over after the Chinese Team revealed their lineup for the Olympic Games this week. The players included in the list were not unexpected but their roles in the competition is yet to be identified. According to an official of the Chinese Team, they will be deciding after the Japan and Korea Open which will be a crucial factor in making their decision. 

Sohu Sports. The Chinese Team has yet to finalise the roles of their players in the upcoming Olympic Games. They say that the Japan and Korea Open will be very crucial. 

The Chinese Team has recently announced their lineup for the Olympic Games but they still haven’t decided yet who will play in the Singles and who can only play in the Team competition. 

According to the team leader of the Chinese Team, Huang Biao, the whole team will be considering the performance of their players during their closed training and at the same time in the World Tour stations in Japan and South Korea. 

After checking the performance of their players, the team will then identify who will play in the Singles. The Japan Open will be on June 15 to 19 while the Korea Open will be on June 22 to 26. In the ITTF website, Chinese players Zhang Jike, Ma Long and Xu Xin are all reported for both the Japan and Korea Open. 

The Chinese team will be starting their closed training in Xiamen and in Chengdu on the 25th and 26th, and will be returning to Beijing on July 15. 

Last year, Xu Xin was the winner in Japan after winning over Maharu Yoshimura. Meanwhile, the Chinese Team skipped the Korea Open.
