Weinviertel Niederösterreich emerged champion of the 2015-16 ETTU-Cup. The Austrian club stood victorious over SV Werder Bremen in the final match held on Friday.

Weinviertel Niederösterreich was crowned champion at the 2015-16 European Champions League. The Austrian club clinched the title after winning against SV Werder Bremen of Germany in the first and second leg matches. 

In the first leg match Niederösterreich got a victory by 3-1. In the second match Yingcho Hou & Co. got a 3-1 win as well. 

In the first match Bastian Steger won the single point for Werder Bremen as he beat Stefan Fegerl by 11-6, 9-11, 9-11, 11-7 and 14-12. Hou defeated Hunor Szocs by 11-, 11-7, 5-11 and 11-4 and leveled the score. 

Daniel Habesohn extended the advantage as he stood victorious over Constantin Cioti by 11-13, 12-10, 11-9 and 11-2. Hou closed the match with a win over Bastian Steger by 12-10, 4-11, 6-11, 11-3 and 11-2.
